I have a new album out today, just in time for Bandcamp Friday.
It’s called letting the mask slip.
As with all the music I release under my slow_the_tape moniker, all twelve tracks on this album are instrumental, semi-improvised, and played solely using guitars ‘n’ pedals.
As always, there are no overdubs (other than those made during the looping process).
The latest addition to my pedalboard for this album was a Dunlop Cry Baby Mini Wah, which can be heard throughout, though not always in obvious ways 🙂
This album is the eighth (and last) in a series of slow_the_tape albums inspired by the book Zen Guitar by Philip Toshio Sudo.
